Jo helped me complete two very complicated projects for my coding bootcamp using React and NodeJS. They were extremely patient even when I was anxious and frustrated, and made me feel empowered about my own abilities while providing much-needed hands-on coding support. Jo was impressively good at spotting bugs and problems in my code and suggesting fixes that ultimately led to me passing my bootcamp. It's obvious that they have a very strong understanding of React and strong problem-solving abilities. I could not have done it without their help!

I’ve known Joseph for 6+ years as a housemate, and grew to be a best friend. They have a ridiculous amount of knowledge from travelling the world, beating the education system, and being genuinely interested in people and processes.

Joseph is the kind of teaching style that is flexible. They explain everything as it’s done, making sure to check in to see if you enjoy that style and understand, but will change styles if it isn’t working. If it doesn’t work, they switch by asking you what you need to better understand it.

Two reasons I know they would be a great teacher:
1. Extremely passionate about their interests - they used to be ok at chess, but now beats me every time - amazing at cooking - and taught me everything I know about coffee, survivalism, and engineering to name a few.
2. The way Joseph explains their process is so smooth and easy to digest. It’s like they are a parent who genuinely cares but also wants you to understand the topic in the most efficient manner possible so that you don’t have to get stuck for a long time on something difficult.

The reason you should pick Joseph is because they are the person that feels success when other people succeed. Again, they win if you win! Why go elsewhere? I haven’t and I’m glad we’re still such good friends. Thanks again for everything you’ve taught me.

Joseph is approachable, calm, very knowledgable, and excellent at troubleshooting. They will go through concepts in such a way that will make you truly understand exactly what you're doing and why you're doing it. Joseph is singlehandedly responsible for my understanding of React. I struggled so much with it before their help.
I am absolutely certain that I would not have passed my coding bootcamp were it not for their help!
