À propos d'Alejandra
Hi, I'm Alejandra, a playwright and dramaturg based in Europe, with a background in academic and creative writing across international contexts.
I completed my secondary education through the IGCSE and IB programmes, including Theatre, which gave me a rigorous foundation in textual analysis, essay writing, storytelling, and critical thinking. Having studied across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, I’m comfortable working with students from a wide range of international backgrounds.
My experience is rooted in dramaturgy and literary development, where I work closely with writers to analyse scripts, develop ideas, and strengthen structure, clarity, and expression. This involves breaking down complex concepts, guiding creative work, and helping individuals develop their voice. Alongside my work in theatre, I am also developing my writing for film, which strengthens my approach to storytelling, structure, and character development.
I've worked extensively with students across different curricula and levels, and I tailor every session to what that student actually needs, whether that's mastering essay structure, developing analytical writing, or finding their voice and confidence in a creative project.

I approach tutoring as a structured but flexible process, where each student develops their own voice while learning clear techniques.
My lessons focus on helping students improve both academic and creative writing. I guide them through building strong essays, developing ideas, and understanding how to structure their work clearly. For students interested in creative writing or theatre, I also support script development, character building, and storytelling.
A typical lesson includes:
1. Identifying the student’s goals (essay, assignment, or creative project)
2. Working through structure and clarity
3. Guided writing exercises or feedback on their work
4. Setting a clear next step so they continue improving between sessions
My goal is not just to correct work, but to help students understand how to think, write, and express their ideas more effectively.
My lessons are suited for:
1. Secondary school students (including IB/IGCSE)
2. Students who want to improve essay writing and analysis
3. Students interested in creative writing or scriptwriting
I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel confident developing their ideas while also building strong writing skills.

Parfait ! The first English tuition session went very smoothly. Alejandra established an excellent rapport with my daughter, who felt immediately comfortable and engaged.
