À propos de Sebastian
Hello there, my name is Sebastian. I'm Franco-British and live in the South-East of England. I have taught various subjects over the last 10 years in a British secondary school. This being said, I was a French teacher (as a foreign language) from 2018 to 2024 and have been teaching History since 2021.
One quote from the Chinese philosopher Xunzi still resonates with me because it basically summarises teaching in a nutshell: 'I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.'
Teaching is all about getting people involved, kindling the flame, getting them to have a 'light-bulb moment'. It is a rewarding experience to see that the knowledge being passed on is not only grasped but useful. Languages are a fantastic tool. They live, they grow, they evolve and more importantly they connect people. It would be my infinite honour to help you expand your linguistic skills.
