À propos de Lina
Hi, I'm Lina! I'm a Business Management graduate with a dual degree from Sist University in Casablanca and Cardiff Met University in the UK, where I studied and lived immersed in an English-speaking environment. My professional experience has also kept me surrounded by English on a daily basis, from working at the American Academy Casablanca to interning at Royal Air Maroc's headquarters, both international environments where English was the main language of communication. Beyond my academic background, I bring real teaching experience: I've worked as a part-time English teacher for nursery-age children, and for several years I've organized and led English camps alongside mentors from Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, and the US. This mix of hands-on teaching and constant exposure to English, both academically and professionally, means I can adapt my lessons to different ages, levels, and goals, always with patience, structure, and genuine enthusiasm for helping students grow in the language.

Approach: My teaching style is interactive and conversation-first. I believe English is best learned by using it, so I build lessons around real dialogue, everyday vocabulary, and listening practice using songs, videos, and audio clips rather than heavy grammar drills.
Typical lesson structure: We start with a short warm-up, a quick chat or listening clip, to get the student speaking right away. Then a focused segment (vocabulary, listening comprehension, or discussion), followed by practice through role-play or questions. I end each session with a quick review.
My strengths: I studied part of my degree in the UK (Cardiff Met University) and did my Baccalaureate in the English option. I've also worked as a part-time English teacher for nursery-age children, and led English camps for several years alongside international mentors, so I'm comfortable adapting to very different ages and levels.
Who it's for: Young children through teens and adults, from nursery-age kids learning through songs and games, to teens and adults wanting to build conversational fluency, vocabulary, and listening skills.
