As a motivated and hardworking professional with over 14 years of experience in Elementary education and school administration, I have developed a deep commitment to helping children reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. In my previous role, I had the privilege of teaching in a school that promotes inclusive education, where I worked closely with children with autism and other special learning needs. This experience strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to adapt lessons according to each learner’s needs. I learned that with the right support, every child is capable of success. For nine years, I also served as a Class Chair, developing lessons aligned with the curriculum and guiding both students and colleagues toward shared goals. I take pride in being organized, reliable, and eager to learn, continuously striving to improve my teaching practices. I value teamwork, clear communication, and doing my best in every task entrusted to me. My native language is Filipino, and I speak fluent English. I recently arrived in Belgium on August 10, 2025, and I am currently taking a Dutch language course, which allows me to speak and understand basic Dutch. I am eager to continue improving my language skills and to integrate into the Belgian educational environment. I would be honored to contribute my experience, dedication, and compassion to you.

As a private English tutor, my approach focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves and develop their language skills at their own pace. I believe that every learner is unique, so I tailor each lesson to match the student’s goals, level, and learning style. Teaching Techniques and Methods I use a combination of communicative and interactive teaching methods. My lessons often include: Conversational practice to build fluency and confidence Phonics and reading exercises to strengthen pronunciation and comprehension Writing and grammar drills to develop accuracy Games, songs, and visual aids to make learning fun and memorable, especially for younger learners I also integrate real-life contexts and materials (stories, dialogues, and short videos) to help students use English meaningfully. Typical Course Structure Each session typically includes: Warm-up activity – to review previous lessons and activate prior knowledge Main lesson – introduction of new vocabulary, grammar, or reading materials Practice and interaction – speaking, reading, or writing exercises Feedback and reflection – short corrections and encouragement for improvement Assignment or extension task – optional follow-up activity for independent practice My Specificities as a Teacher I am a patient, creative, and empathetic teacher with over 14 years of experience in education.
