À propos de Seo-young
The great advantage of learning from an experienced private tutor is that the course can be designed only for them. I’ve taught students of various levels, from highly advanced ones to slow learners and students with ADHD.
Every child is different and unique, and they all have their own talents and strengths. I’ve always done my best to recognize their strengths to help them improve their English. Encouraging them to have a growth mindset is a very important part of my teaching.
Regardless of their level, I’ve witnessed a great number of kids and teenagers who improved a lot in English. Of course, it requires (a lot of or some) time but it’s definitely worth it. One of my students, who started 4 years ago when she was 10 (AR 3 level / native Korean), now reads various books (including Harry Potter) and watches Khan Academy YouTube videos (math, science, world history) in English without any difficulty. :)
I believe in the potential of children and teenagers, and teaching them has always been my passion in my life.
Language learning is a life-long journey, but when you do it when you’re younger, you definitely get lots of merits. :)

- Classes adapted to the level & needs.
- Specially designed curriculum for each student (or group).
- Pronunciation, alphabet, phonics, storybooks, vocabulary, reading, chapter books, speaking, writing, speech….
- Online classes on Zoom. (Google classroom is used for homework & class materials if necessary.)
- Classes are in English. (I may say a few words in French to the students if they have a hard time understanding)
- Extra studying materials can be provided depending on the levels & needs (ex. audio files, PDF…)
- Basically students are required to do homework (amount of homework depends on the level & needs)
** feedback is always given.
** classes without homework: possible based on consulting with parents.
- Once you contact me, I’d like to discuss the level, needs and interests of your children.
- 1st class offered: I spend at least 10~20 min checking the level of the student and getting to know each other a bit. Then, for the rest of the time, they learn English with me.
- After the 1st class, if the students decide to continue to learn, the curriculum of the class will be specially designed for them.

Seo-young m'a enseigné les bases du coréen, elle est très compétente et n'abandonne jamais quand on a besoin d'aide. Si on l'écoute, on ne peut pas ne pas évoluer, elle comprend nos besoins et donne de bons conseils sur comment étudier, et être sérieux... Je la recommande sincèrement :)
