À propos de Roya
For the past few years, I have been teaching professionals in preparation for the TOEIC and BULATS tests, though I also have experience with children and teenagers, as well as actors and performance artists preparing for English-speaking roles.
My career as a writer and performer has led me to grace the stages of major UK festivals such as Brainchild, Latitude and Bestival (to name a few). I was a Resident Artist at The Roundhouse in Camden between 2016/17 and was a part of their poetry collective between 2015/16, attending weekly workshops alongside my university studies to hone and strengthen my writing. My use of English is as creative as it is classic, and I enjoy teaching and getting to know my students.

I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom, currently living in Paris.
After studying English Literature at university in London, I moved to France where I began working as an au pair and English teacher for young children. Gradually, I moved away from my work with children and began teaching teenagers and adults.
In my first adult training post, I gained experience teaching groups of 3-6 people during intensive English weeks, as well as individual face-to-face lessons and shorter phone lessons where the focus was on functional and situational English for everyday, professional use. I then changed companies and began teaching longer, less intensive courses with more focus on BULATS/TOEIC/TOEFL training. My students consistently achieve high scores on the TOEIC and BULATS, and I have helped many young adults excel in the TOEFL, allowing them to progress in their higher education and ERASMUS programs. I now work as an auto-entrepreneur, and offer a mix of all of the aforementioned services.
I have also coached theatre and film actors on grammar, pronunciation and accent.

Précisions
I charge 35 euros an hour for face-to-face lessons at my home.
If I have to travel, the price per hour is 50 euros.
Package prices for face-to-face lessons at my home are:
165 euros for 5 hours.
300 euros for 10 hours.
Package prices for face-to-face lessons at an alternative location are:
235 euros for 5 hours.
450 euros for 10 hours.
Group lessons have a base price of 35 euros for one person, plus 10 euros for each extra person. Therefore, a group of 2 people would pay a total of 45 euros for a lesson at my home. 3 people would pay a total of 60 euros.
Phone lessons are 30 euros an hour. 30-minute phone lessons are possible.
