I have been taking French conversation lessons every week with Davina for 2 years and have loved every session. It would have been difficult to maintain this if I hadn’t enjoyed our conversations so much. I feel totally at ease with Davina and this helps to break the anxiety I feel when I speak French. She corrects me gently and when I don’t understand a grammar point she helps me to understand. As an older student learning a language is tough, but I am determined to keep going because it’s become something I enjoy and that is due to Davina.

Davina is a thoughtful and dedicated French teacher. She makes lessons fun and relevant to everyday life. She adapts her content to the needs of her students and is a positive, caring person. I highly recommend her as a French teacher.

Have schooled with Davina for more than a year; she is more than comfortable with remote teaching and has a unique ability to build confident fluency, subtly correcting where appropriate. Lynne-Davina is a great teacher, with three boys herself she understands how to interact with children and make it interesting. She’s trustworthy and reliable. French is her first language, you will have a better approach to the language and also the culture. I highly recommend her!

I was at High School with Davina and then she studied in Zurich to become a translator and interpreter from and to French and German. You need to have great skills to do this. At the same time, she was already bilingual in English since her childhood.
