I have seen a lot of my friends in music become so frustrated with “making” it in music that I feel they’ve lost sight of what really matters: the quality and personality of the music. I want to help others express their individuality through their music, and help them build their own approach to something that seems daunting at first… but after some courses with me, it won’t seem so overwhelming. It will seem like a playground of infinite possibilities

When it comes to music production, I may not be classically trained or studied. But I’m self-taught. I believe that this approach of teaching oneself about the properties of the artistic tool you would like to use offers you infinite amounts of room to find your own sound. I would be present not only to help teach the technical side of Ableton, but to help you start forming your own sonic identity and pinpoint what’s working and what can be improved. As an added bonus: I am bilingual in English and French (though my written French is terrible), so you will also have the opportunity to learn not only some production terms in English, but also conversational English! (Which I would be more than happy to pursue with any student who wants to learn some English as well.)
