À propos de Chunlan
I’m a qualified mathematics educator with a BSc in Mathematics and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), with teaching experience in international-school settings.
I tutor Mathematics from primary level through IGCSE, including students following the UK National Curriculum and IB programmes. My approach is clear, structured and highly personalised: I identify gaps in understanding, break challenging concepts into manageable steps, and use questioning, scaffolding and targeted practice to build both mathematical understanding and confidence.
What sets me apart is my combination of strong mathematical knowledge, international experience and a supportive teaching style. I believe students learn best when they understand why a method works, not simply how to memorise it. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, strengthening foundations or being challenged to reach the next level, I adapt each lesson to their individual needs.
