À propos de Petra
Hello and welcome!
I am a professional flute teacher originally from Montenegro, with a passion for music and for helping students discover the joy of playing the flute.
I studied flute at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where I completed my Master’s degree under the guidance of Professor Walter Auer, one of Europe’s renowned flute professors and first flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
During my time in Vienna, I also had the opportunity to work as a flute teacher at the Vienna International School, as well as teaching students privately. These experiences have allowed me to work with students of different ages, backgrounds and levels. Besides teaching, I am working partly in the professional orchestra, have my chamber ensemble with which I am performing frequently, and also performing solo concerts. I find this extremely connected and helpful for the teaching.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual level, age and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner, an intermediate or advanced player, I will help you develop a beautiful sound, solid technique, good breathing and musical expression.
Lessons can include work on posture, breathing, tone production, articulation, technique, sight-reading, stage anxiety, repertoire and many more. If you are preparing for an audition, entrance exam or performance, we can also focus specifically on your needs and goals. Whatever your goal at the moment, I am here to guide you and be the support.
My aim is to create a relaxed, positive and motivating environment where you can enjoy making music while progressing at your own pace.
