À propos de Tjark
Hi, I'm Tjark! I grew up in Germany, studied in Würzburg and have lived and worked in several places since, including Munich and now Paris, where I'm doing my Master's in Finance & Risk Management at ISC Paris.
Languages have always opened doors for me. Through international volunteer work and programmes like the NMUN Change the World Academy, I've seen how much confidence people gain once they can express themselves freely in another language. That's exactly what I want to give my students.
Alongside my studies, I work in business and have gained professional experience in finance at Richemont, so I know which German you really need in a professional environment. I'm also involved in the art scene as treasurer of a German art association.
I'm patient, well organised and enjoy explaining things in a simple, practical way. I look forward to helping you reach your goals in German!

My German lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you are a complete beginner, a high school student preparing for exams, a university student or a professional who wants to use German at work.
My approach: lots of speaking from the very first lesson, because a language is learned by using it. Grammar is explained clearly and practically, always based on real-life examples. I use varied materials (articles, videos, dialogues, targeted exercises) and regularly review your progress with you.
I am from Germany, completed my bachelor's degree at the University of Würzburg and am currently doing a Master's in Finance & Risk Management at ISC Paris. Thanks to my professional experience, I can also prepare you for business German: meetings, emails and job interviews.
Lessons usually last 1 hour (1.5 hours possible) and take place in Paris or online. Feel free to get in touch for a first chat!
