À propos d'Emily
I am a TEFL accredited teacher of English as a foreign language and have worked teaching English online since 2015.
All teaching career paths demand the ability to nurtur self-confidence in other people. The ability becomes particularly important when people have a problem expressing themselves clearly, or at all.

Many people learn to use a language well - on paper. They can read, write and translate the language, but freeze when it comes to holding even the most ordinary conversation. Learning to speak a language confidently and well demands daily practice from the student, and encouragement from other people to break the 'freezing' habit and speak. All my students get lots of encouragement from me to speak - and lots of practice speaking, reading articles aloud and discussing them, or telling me about themselves or how they spent their day or their weekend or their holiday. This course is NOT about perfecting - or even learning! - grammar. Grammar will not help anyone find the public toilet in a strange town or city; only the confidence to ask questions of a stranger can do that!
