I was born in Switzerland but have lived almost my whole adulthood in California. After completing my Master's degree, I worked in several management positions, but once I had kids, I wanted more flexibility. So I got my teaching license and have been teaching K-12 for the past 8 years.

In my classes, I speak only English. I think this is the best way to learn and get better. However, I encourage questions and a back and forth between student and teacher. My goal is for people to feel comfortable expressing themselves in English.
