Teach Language for Communication Focus on real-life use, not memorization Language is learned to express meaning and interact 2. Start with Context Use pictures, short stories, videos, or real situations Always introduce new language within a meaningful context 3. Guided Discovery of Grammar Learners infer rules from examples Avoid explaining grammar directly at the beginning 4. Structured Practice Short, focused activities (matching, completing, reformulating) Practice is meaningful and goal-oriented 5. Free Production Learners speak and write freely Role-plays, descriptions, short dialogues, and storytelling Errors are accepted as part of learning 6. Continuous Assessment Observation and feedback instead of traditional exams Encourage self-correction and reflection 7.
