I'm Irene and I'm Italian. I have a bachelor's and an MA in international relations, and I love to tutor students in different subjects, especially English and Italian. I'm a grammar nerd, and will have some interesting anecdotes on why certain words are constructed the way they are, their etymology and meaning.

As a private tutor, I always adapt my teaching to the needs, level, and goals of each student. Having taught English and Italian to children and teenagers, I place great importance on creating a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment. I use a communicative approach that encourages students to actively use the language. Students are encouraged to speak, ask questions, and practise new vocabulary and grammar in real contexts. Depending on the student’s age and level, I incorporate a variety of materials such as written exercises, language games, short readings, videos, and discussions about everyday topics.
