I am a motivated and responsible tutor currently pursuing a BSc in International Business and Management in Brussels. I bring formal teaching experience from an English-medium primary school, where I developed strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills while working with young learners from diverse backgrounds.
I am committed to delivering clear, structured, and effective lessons that support both academic progress and confidence-building in mathematics. My teaching approach is organized, patient, and tailored to individual learning needs, ensuring that each student receives the guidance and attention required to succeed. As a private tutor, my approach is centered on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and develop their understanding at their own pace. I believe that mathematics becomes easier when concepts are explained clearly and connected to real-life examples, so I focus on simplifying complex ideas and building strong foundational skills.
My teaching methods are interactive and student-focused. I adapt my explanations depending on each student’s learning style, whether they need step-by-step guidance, visual examples, or additional practice. I encourage active participation by asking questions, solving problems together, and gradually helping students become more independent in their thinking.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material to reinforce understanding, followed by introducing new concepts in a clear and structured way. We then work through examples together before the student practices independently with my guidance. I also include regular feedback and short assessments to track progress and identify areas that need improvement.
My key strengths as a teacher include patience, clear communication, and the ability to explain concepts in simple English. Having taught in a fully English-medium primary school, I am experienced in working with young learners and ensuring they feel comfortable and supported.
