Native Japanese, studied Japanese literature in Japan and am qualified to teach Japanese.
I have been teaching Japanese language and culture in Belgium for almost 20 years in English at various levels:
- Primary and secondary education at the Japanese School of Brussels (Saturday classes)
- Japanese for business at Berlitz
- Individual and training courses.
I really enjoy teaching Japanese, regardless of level, catering to different expectations (professional, travel, cultural) and ages of participants (children, teenagers, adults).

- Use of varied materials (videos, diagrams, practical exercises, discussions) to reinforce learning.
Typical Course Structure
1. **Welcome and Context Setting:**
- Brief discussion to know how the student feels and what they remember from the previous lesson.
- Presentation of the session’s objectives.
2. **Review:**
- Recap of key concepts covered previously to ensure they are well understood and retained.
3. Guided Practice:
- Supervised practice exercises to apply new knowledge.
- Correction and discussion of mistakes for active learning.
4. Review and Conclusion:
- Summary of key points covered during the session.

For small groups:
• 2 students: €25 per hour per person
• 3 students: €20 per hour per person
A complimentary lesson will be provided for each new student referred, applicable to lesson packages of 10 sessions or more.
