À propos de Shashi Bikram
My name is Shashi Bikram Karki, and I am a Nepali language instructor with over ten years of experience teaching foreigners. I have been teaching Nepali at the Alliance Française de Kathmandu since 2016.
Over the years, I have worked as a Nepali tutor with learners from diverse backgrounds, including expatriates, travelers, students, researchers, and professionals. This experience has helped me develop a flexible, student-centered, and goal-oriented teaching approach.
I am passionate about languages and cultural exchange. For me, learning Nepali is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about understanding Nepal’s rich culture, traditions, and everyday life. I aim to make each lesson meaningful by combining language learning with cultural insight.
As a Nepali language tutor, I focus on creating a friendly, supportive, and motivating environment where students feel confident and comfortable. My online Nepali lessons are always adapted to each learner’s level, needs, and personal objectives.
Whether you are learning Nepali for travel, work, personal interest, or communication with Nepali speakers, I will be happy to guide you step by step on your learning journey and help you make steady progress with confidence.

My Nepali lessons are designed for anyone looking for a Nepali language tutor online, whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of the language.
I adapt each lesson to your personal goals: preparing for a trip to Nepal, communicating with Nepali-speaking friends or family, working in a professional context, or simply learning the Nepali language and discovering Nepal’s rich culture and traditions.
My teaching approach is interactive, practical, and communication-focused. As your Nepali tutor, I help you develop all essential skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. We always work through real-life situations to make the learning process natural and effective.
I also integrate Nepali culture, traditions, and everyday life into my lessons so that you not only learn the language but also understand how it is used in real contexts.
I provide structured learning materials, exercises, and personalized support based on your level and pace. All lessons are available as online Nepali lessons, and can be conducted in English, French, or Nepali depending on your preference.
My goal is to help you become confident in Nepali, enjoy the learning process, and make steady, long-term progress in a supportive and motivating environment.
