À propos d'Iolène
Hello! I am a PhD student at ETH Zurich focusing on clouds and tropical cyclones, having previously completed my studies at EPFL with an exchange year at KTH Stockholm.
My own student journey wasn't without its challenges: during my early university years, I faced a steep learning curve without much guidance on how to study effectively. Overcoming those challenges pushed me to become a bit more creative on how to learn best. Today, I am looking forward in helping other students by teaching, guiding, and providing advice.
Beyond physics, I remain an artist at heart who loves reading, writing, cooking, drawing, and hiking. In high school, my favorite subjects spanned from French, philosophy, and history to physics and math (giving me a well-rounded approach to communication and problem-solving). Always motivated, smiling, and patient, I’m here to help you build confidence and navigate your studies with ease! :)

Hello! I’m Iolene :)
I am a PhD researcher in atmospheric physics at ETH Zurich, having previously completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at EPFL, as well as an exchange at KTH Stockholm.
I offer online tutoring for Maths and Physics (up to Bachelor’s level), as well as French, English, and general homework help.
Languages: English, French, or Russian
Format: Online via webcam (occasional or regular) or at my/your place
Experience: Teaching students of all ages, including children
My goal is to make learning less stressful and tailored to your pace, sometimes even with a relaxed "French fika" feel, as I love to bake!
Feel free to contact me if you're interested. I look forward to meeting you!
