À propos de Mélie
Hi ! I'm Mélie, a native French teacher with three years of experience. I studied at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Paris), and I also come from a background in performance and the arts. This combination shapes the way I teach: beyond language itself, I help you develop confidence, presence, and ease when speaking in public. My approach is not only about learning French, but about expressing yourself clearly, naturally, and with impact, whether in everyday conversations or more formal situations.
Passing on my experience and knowledge is one of my greatest passions and it gives me great pleasure to accompany each person on their journey towards a new learning experience. I speak French (my mother tongue), English, Portuguese, Spanish and Catalan. I know the pleasure of learning a new language, but I also know the difficulties and stagnation that people face. That's why my teaching is adapted to each person's needs, in a progressive and enjoyable way, bringing confidence, progress and pleasure to the students.

Each student is unique, and I believe that language learning should reflect that. Rather than following a fixed or standardized method, I design each lesson around you : your personality, your pace, and your specific goals.
From our first session, I take the time to understand your motivations: whether you want to improve your speaking skills, prepare for a professional context, gain confidence, or simply enjoy the language more. This allows me to build a learning experience that is both relevant and engaging.
My approach combines structure and flexibility. I adapt the content, rhythm, and focus of each session so that you can progress efficiently while staying motivated. I also place great importance on creating a supportive and relaxed environment, where you feel comfortable expressing yourself and taking risks, which is essential when learning a language.
