As a fellow classmate and close friend, I can confidently say that Lavanya is an extremely talented and dedicated student. She is a deep thinker possessed of superior reasoning and problem-solving skills. But perhaps her best quality is her readiness to share her knowledge with others. Personally, when I doubt my understanding of course material, the first person I'd reach out to is Lavanya. She'd pull out her drawing pad and patiently go through practice questions, annotating and showing her work until I am fully confident with my understanding. She is someone who is extremely patient and very attention to detail. A memorable experience I have with her is that how patient she was in teaching me something that was art related. Showing me step by step and even taking time to ask if I understood what what being explained. If I let her know I did not understand, she would back track and explain once again.

The main reason I am would recommend her is because I highly believe that she has the patience to be a teacher. Everyone learns differently, especially with numbers.
