À propos de Mélanie
After studying the theory and practice of Yoga with different teachers in Paris (Gérard Arnaud), India (Samyak Yoga) and Belgium (Marc Beuvain) to name a few, I started sharing the knowledge and benefits of yoga through giving private and group classes in 2013 in Brussels in French or English to people of different ages, profiles and abilities. I could observe significant changes, great evolution in the practice of the students who followed regular classes with me and/or continued their own practice at the same time with dedication.

Yoga classes adapted to your needs.
Vinyasa/Ashtanga yoga classes are dynamic yoga classes based on the movement, the link between flowing and static poses, always in synchronization with the breath, which is the essential tool of Asana practice (poses) and Pranayama practice (breathing techniques). The class ends up with a relaxation/integration time or seated meditation depending on the type of practice and needs.
The Hatha Yoga approach is less exigeant physically including less dynamic poses in a row, more times of rest and breathing exercises.
Yoga therapy consists in sessions specifically designed according to the person, to a particular demand that may be linked to:
- a specific physical condition, chronic inability or injury
- a pathology or a specific imbalance
- an emotional conflict to deal with
In any case, the class will be an exploration towards adapting the practice as close as possible to the needs of the student, working towards improvement through finding and accepting the current limits in order to deepen the practice.
The classes address anybody, there is no age limitation to the practice of yoga. Yoga is adaptable and accessible to all.
